Do You Have Any Suggestions For First Time Princess Cruisers - Caribbean Princess

Our first cruise on the Princess line will be on December 26 -about 2 weeks away. I would appreciate if, with your help, I could compile a list of the best or must do things while on board the Caribbean Princess. Thanks!

We are sailing on CB 2/27. Third time on this ship, I love it! For people watching, I like to hang out in the Piazza with a book and sip a cappuccino (you want to get a coffee card if you like good coffee). My favorite pool is the Terrace pool on the back of the boat, love to watch the wake streaming away. Also use the steam room a lot, located in men's locker room in the spa area. I also do many laps around the Promenade deck to compensate for all that terrific food. And of course late nights are not complete without hitting the craps table in the casino. Just a few of the wonderful things to do on the boat. You are gonna live it! :D

At least 1 visit to The Sanctuary, an adults only area. There you will be pampered like royalty. There is a small fee involved.

Hot cookies and ice cold milk around 3:00 or 3:30. Reminds you of childhood days....are they ready yet!!

Piping hot, thin crust pizza from the Pizzeria

Skywalkers Nightclub, during the day for the panoramic view of all times.

A visit to the thermal suite area to veg on a heated tile lounge after a workout or just because.

Whatever you do I'm sure that you'll have fun. ENJOY!!

I would recommend doing the Chef's Table. Great 3 hour 9 course dinner prepared for you by the executive chef. You get to go into the galley while it is in operation and start your meal there with some great appetizers. Cost is $75pp, but it included you wine/champagne (and not the cheap stuff) cookbook, couple of pictures. We really enjoyed our Chef's Table while on the Caribbean Princess.

One of my favorite locations is the area atop the bridge. You access this area by going all the way forward on Lido Deck thru a set of two doors that are traditionally closed, just open em up. The views from atop the bridge are great, the area seldom has any people up there, and its a great place to watch sail aways or pulling into ports.

One thing that was especially nice on our Caribbean cruise last week - the hot tub on Deck 17 at night :-) We usually went there after dinner, around 10 pm or even later, with cocktails, went in and stargazed in the warm nights - lovely, absolutely romantic spot - and we always had the whole area to ourselves!
