Emerald or Star

When we were on the Emerald Princess over Thanksgiving, it didn't seem like there were many children on board at all. We would ocassionally see a child once in a while, but it was definitely much less than we had seen on our previous cruises on NCL and Carnival. It was a much older crowd. I didn't know if it had to do with the fact that it was a 10-day cruise like the April 17th cruise will be. I would think that 7 day cruises would be more popular for families. Even though the April 17th cruise is over Easter, it ends on a Wednesday.
