wim48 Posted December 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2010 Have anyone pictures of a handicaped cabin (1007 Costa Fortuna). Are the 2 beds separated or not?
NancyJewel92 Posted December 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2010 While I'm not familiar with this particular ship or it's cabins, generally the two lower beds in cabins can be configured to be single, separated beds or moved together to be a large double bed. wim48 Posted December 18, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted December 18, 2010 On the Atlantica and the Victoria are the 2 beds moved together. But I read that on the Fortuna the 2 beds can not removed together. That would surprise me because the other ships are not so.
wim48 Posted December 31, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted December 31, 2010 It was a very disappointing when I received a image of cabin 1007 on the Costa Fortune. See attachment. For me is it to small (with my patient lift and wheelchair) FO cabin 1007.pdf
Queenofthechickens Posted December 31, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2010 what source did you get the image from? it looks very outdated to me compared to other non handicapped cabin photos online. Have you tried calling the cruiseline or the ship itself?
wim48 Posted January 1, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted January 1, 2011 I received it from Costa (they received it from the Fortuna). For me is it a standard cabin, buth with a wider door and bigger bathroom. Within a few days they send me a picture from a outside cabin with window. On the plan is that cabin bigger than a inside cabin. Let us hope... I don't understand. The Fortune is a newer ship than the Atlantica and the Victoria. On the Atlantica and the Victoria I have sufficient place (see attachment) Atlantica.pdf Victoria1.pdf Victoria2.pdf
