Horseback Riding in Denali

Does anyone have any recommendations for horseback outfitters in the Denali area? Just looking for a two hour ride. Thanks.

I love riding hores but I can't see doing so in the area with BEARS not to mention MOOSE.

Hmmm, hadn't thought about that. I am assuming the guide would have a rather large gun to use if they had to given the size of the wildlife in the area and the fact that the rides are not in the park. However, I am sure I would not want to be on the back (or probably shortly off the back )of a horse spooked by a bear. Just hope we don't run into a mother bear with her cubs :eek:

 

When hiking in the backcountry of Yellowstone I was a nervous wreck, making the required noise and twirling around much more often than I needed to. The only thing I saw on my "twirls" was a coyote crossing about two feet behind me. Never saw him waiting for us to pass. What a hoot.
