Whoo Hoo! Called Carnival to find out how much it would be to upgrade to a higher floor, was in Balcony 5219, got upgraded to 8158 for free. Husband is going to die! He likes lower floors, I like them higher.

So funny to read your excitement because I just finished reading another thread from someone who said being under the Lido deck was awful.

You may want to look at the deck plans and see if you can get moved to a cabin under the buffet/restaurant area instead (8220-8233 would be good) If you can score 8232, that one has a phenomenally long balcony! Right now you are directly below the Main Pool area on Lido, so it can get noisy there (chairs scraping, parties, etc). Just a thought...if hubby may not like being up high, he may get really upset if it's noisy, too! We love being on Panorama, but some areas are tough....

yeah I got upgraded from a regular balcony to n extended balcony for free on my legend cruise in January.

All you lucky upgraded folks, none for us, ship is sold out. Went ES but not even a price drop happened....itinerary is new and great, so the ship sold fast.
