kpercy Posted December 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2010 Can anyone recommend this 9 day cruise in Nov on Shadow. It takes in mainly Vietnam ports.
57 varieties Posted December 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2010 We did this cruise in February 2010 and loved it. The ports are varied and all have plenty to offer. The visit to Ha Long Bay is magical as is Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Be sure to visit in the evening and to take the long drive out to the Mekong Delta. The Shadow is a great ship too. Honor Posted January 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2011 We did back-to-back cruises in 2006. We sailed from Singapore (did 3 night pre cruise) to Hong Kong (sail away from Hong Kong at night, ahh, I can still see the harbor lights). Then Hong Kong to Tokyo (with 4 nights post-cruise). We loved the itinerary. In China, we did the 4 day overland tour to see the Terra Cota Warriors and Horses and the Great Wall, Summer Place, etc. Fabulous. We are booked to go on the Prince Albert to Antarctica in December 2011. Looking forward to another great cruise on Silverseas. We like expedition cruises and sailed around Galapagos with Celebrity. We've sailed on many lines: Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity, Holland America, the old Premier. We've loved every cruise on every cruise line. All are different and great in their own way. But on each cruise there was a common thread: no matter the cruise line, the crew members were all wonderful and really made each cruise wonderful.
