detwings Posted December 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2010 We are sailing the Mellenium next month to the Southern Caribbean. Do they open Michael's Club the first day (embarkation) for the Elite guests for cocktails? I am not sure how they do a 10 day cruise. Its been awhile. I know our experience on Century (4 or 5 day) they do not open Michael's Club on the day of embarkation. Just wanted to know. Thanks for the help. Phxazzcruisers Posted December 31, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2010 I do not remember them opening Michael's Club the first day on any of our Celebrity Cruises. You will have pleanty of time to catch up on day two :)
reneemor Posted December 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2010 Just off the Millenium. Michaels club does not open embarkation day and also on the night of the senior officers party for captains club. It is open on the captains night. tak2 Posted January 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2011 We are not yet Elite but will be in a Celebrity Suite. Will we be eligible to access Michael's for pre dinner cocktail?
Fblack Posted January 6, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2011 Passengers in suites do not get those Elite benefits.
Gonzo70 Posted January 6, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 6, 2011 We are not yet Elite but will be in a Celebrity Suite. Will we be eligible to access Michael's for pre dinner cocktail? Possibly; it is not an automatic suite perk, but sometimes people in Celebrity Suites will receive Elite benefits. It depends on the Hotel Director. I think they factor in how many Elite Captain Club members are on your particular sailing; if there are a lot you are less likely to receive the perks.
