questions re: bottled water/curling irons

Is it possible to bring your own bottled water on board in Ft. Lauderdale?

 

Carnival has banned curling irons, has Princess?

 

Anyone have a P outside cabin under the showroom? Is it noisy?

I can tell you that bottled water is no problem with Princess.

Bottled water - OK, but not neccesary, the ship water is purer thann any bottled water you can buy. Just bring some empty containers to fill from your bathroom faucet.

And keep them in your refrigerator. Sometimes even the "cold" tap is lukewarm

We carried on a case of water (for 5 people) on our last cruise. We just slapped a luggage tag on it. No problem.

The curling iron is fine on Princess. And just a little FYI, I think Carnival changed those rules so curling irons are now allowed to be carried onboard their ships also. ;)

I agree. The water on the ship used for drinking is distilled using the ship's excess engine heat so it's as pure as bottled water. It could very well be purer so it wouldn't occur to me to lug water onboard.
