mgatton15 Posted January 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2011 I read about this dish at this web site http://www.vacation-in-barbados.com/food-in-barbados.html. Now I have to have this for lunch when I'm in Barbados. Can anyone recommend a restaurant that serves Bajan Macaroni Pie, or is this street vendor food? Either way, I need this in my life. Thanks! amistad Posted January 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2011 Check out the daily lunch buffet menu online for Brown Sugar, it looks like it has what you are looking for.

mgatton15 Posted January 9, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted January 9, 2011 That's actually where I hoped to find something. I thought it would be nice to watch the waves and surfers at Soup Bowl. The buffet sounds great for trying all different types of local food, but $25 was a little more than I had planned. Thanks for your input!
baffles Posted January 13, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2011 The Round House is the place to go for great food and views. It's on the coast by Bathsheba. They have a web site. Been there 4-5 times at least, and was just there in December. Perfect. We have a driver when ever in Barbados, and that always is the noon stop. You'll love it. baffles:D

cruisingbajan Posted January 18, 2011 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Macaroni pie is pretty much a staple on EVERY restaurant menu in Barbados...except for the really upscale ones. You should have no problem finding this and flying fish during your visit. You maybe able to find it within the port area as well. If you want some real local flavour there is a no frills restaurant just a stone's throw away from the port called The Port Hole.
