capnpugwash Posted January 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2011 Can anyone provide a photograph of the view from Cabin 5.115 on Queen Victoria. Is it very obstructed? Many thanks It is not obstructed at all, it is a balcony cabin and is above the level of the lifeboats.
Ray66 Posted January 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2011 The deck plans show cabin 5115 as an A6 and being partially obstructed which means just the top of a tender or part of the cradle. As in this photo which I believe shows cabin 5115.
bh99mh Posted January 6, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted January 6, 2011 Many thanks. The obstructed view then would just be if you are looking down. Your quick response was much appreciated. :)
Diggit Posted January 7, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Hi, we have just come back off QV and had cabin 5.120 which is exactly the same as 5.115 but on the other side of the ship. The lifeboats did not interfere with our views only when looking down onto the boat. If cabin 5.122 or 5.117 is still available then these have a slightly better view. Given the price saving of these cabins they still have a very good view out to sea and we would not hesitate to book them again. Attached is a couple of photo's I took just in case anyone asked this question. Have a great time

Ray66 Posted January 9, 2011 #9 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Sorry thought they had attached, I have tried to attach again. That second picture looks like you've got a partial obstruction but not too bad.
bh99mh Posted January 10, 2011 Author #10 Share Posted January 10, 2011 :) Many thanks. We are happy with that and as you say the price saving is great as well. We go on the 24th April, can't come soon enough after all this snow!!
