Hol Chan Marine Reserve

From what I understand from research on the internet, I can take a boat from the Swing Bridge in Belize City to San Pedro Island where the Hol Chan Marine Reserve is located. The cost is $25 per person round trip ($35 if you want to stop at an additional location on the same island). Anyone used an independent tour company for this before? Sounds almost too good to be true.
