You do not have to pay any fees to use West Bay Beach, it is a public beach that anyone can use. There are access points between most of the resorts that give you access to the beach directly. You can also go through most resorts to get to the beach. Some resorts will allow you to rent one of their chairs while at the beach. Cost is $5. We always go through Infinity Bay Resort or Paradise Beach Resort to get to the beach.

3 Bananarama Resort Area

. No Entrance fees

. Beach chair Not included (available for $5)

. 2 1/2 block walk to get to beach (Bananarama is directly on the beach)

. Lots of people (people will be everywhere during cruise ship days)

Bananarama has a great beach bar/restaurant (Thirsty Turtle) and is centrally located at the mid-point of WBB (West Bay Beach). If you're driving, parking is available at a private lot located directly behind Bananarama - cost is 20 lps (or $1 USD) per hour. It's then a 1 minute walk to the beach proper.

We paid $17 apiece round trip to West Bay. Just joined a van at the pier which was headed to the beaches. The van dropped each group to whatever area of the beach or resort they were interested in and we set a pick up time that worked for us all. Easy to do.
