Rainbow3fe Posted January 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2011 We are independent travelers who cruise infrequently. We were on the Nautica from Athens to Venice in 2007 and loved the ship, the itinerary and the food. Having a balcony is exactly what we need to feel like we are vacationing. We decided to take this TA cruise to experience the flavor of cruising, without having to wake up at 6 AM to prepare for a day trip. We are renting an apartment in Barcelona for a week before the cruise and would like to meet for lunch on Monday March 14, with anybody who is interested. As of now, we are not planning to do any shore excursions with the ship. We want to find people who would like to spend a half day in Rio visiting the Sugarloaf. We really want to spend the afternoon walking around the city and just taking in the flavors of Rio. I would appreciate suggestions for any of the other ports. Thanks. I think the cruise starts in Buenos Aires...doesn't it ? The best place to post is in the ROLL CALL for your cruise There you will meet your fellow cruisers click on the link http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1068141
