travelmama06 Posted January 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2011 We are trying to plan our excursions for our NCL Spirit Cruise in February. I understand that we will tender in Belize so would like to take a NCL excursion. Some of the tours we are looking at are the Bannister Island Beach Break - but thought maybe this would not give us enough of the Belize area. Another idea is the Airboat tour - something very different and a chance to see some of the area and have a short city tour. Has anyone done this excursion? And lastly the Calypso Train - gives a short city tour and then a chance to wander the port area and return to the ship for an afternoon of R and R on the Spirit. Any advice would be the terrific! hawkmancruiser Posted March 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2011 travelmama06, What did you decide on? We are cruising into Belize at the begining of April and are trying to decide between Bannister Island or the Calypso Train with an early return to the ship. 1stTimer02/2011 Posted March 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2011 We went with Bannister Island on the Spirit... probably one of our best stops on the cruise. Beach was great, lots of loungers, beer was cheap! Just terrific in our books! Well worth the $$
