buying a snorkel on carnival

I thought I read somewhere that you could buy a carnival snorkel on board for around $5.00. We will be on Carnival Liberty.

yes, iv seen them on the desk at the excursion desk on every carnival cruise.

 

Im not saying its a great deal .. but they are for sale.

 

I think the sign might have said $5, I cant remember the price.

Just got off the Triumph today and yes while on the ship saw a bucket on the counter with plastic covered snorkels in it and the sign said $5.00.

Do they sell masks as well or just snorkels?

Just snorkels at the desk. Im thinking its for sanitation. People dont want to rent one and put their mouth where someone else's mouth was.

Those are cheap models but they do sell them on each ship..I went to a decent sporting goods store and bought a nice snorkel and mask and bring it with me on every cruise....Dennis
