tropical.dreams Posted January 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2011 I just made reservations for a tour through Key Lime Bike Tours because it seems to hit all the fun things we want to do in February on the Destiny. We dock at 7:30am, and they leave at 9:30am, get back around noon-ish. Our ship leaves at 2. One thing I have to do while I'm there is get a bottle of sand, because I collect it from all over the world. Since this tour doesn't stop at any beaches, I'll need to do it either before or after the tour. If we're walking, which beach will we have time to hit, and would it be best to do it before or after the tour?

The easiest would be to finish the bike tour, then walk onto the groounds of the Pier House, 1 Duval Street (from the side entrance), have a nice Bloody Mary at their *Beach*-side bar (get it?) and take a little sand. Not too much! Pjk
peter_krynicki Posted January 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2011 I 2bl checked their route and when you are at the Southernmost Point there is also the beach one block over on South Street at the Southernmost beach Cafe. One block over and 1/2 block to the right. Pjk
tropical.dreams Posted January 14, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted January 14, 2011 The Southernmost point is PERFECT! I'm sure I can bike over a block and a half quickly. Thank you!
