Anyone out there that has a relatively current menu for these 2 restaurants? We are sailing on 2/21 and i want to organise a dinner for my mum's birthday in one of these "paid" restaurants. Will be having breakfast and lunch in Cagneys so dont want to go back there for dinner!!

Also, any thoughts you may have on which is the better of the two would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance

I would recommend le Bistro, hands down:). You can read my NCL Sky review from January 2009, but I find the atmosphere and food better in the French than either of the others. I agree, breakfast and lunch in Cagney's is a fantastic experience and you will be pampered. But I will likely not pay $25 or more to eat dinner there next time.

I have eaten in both at least 5 times now and I like both equally! They both have different things to order and are both worth the extra $$$. We got the anniversary package once that has a cake and the cake was uneatable and the decorations stink LOL. Yucky. So the next time when I went on a cruise for my husband on his birthday I brought decorations and decorated the room myself when he went to the casino. I bet you could ask the room steward to do it too...they are all so nice.
