js4rq Posted January 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Hello, We are thinking of doing either the Old Mazatlan Walking tour or Colonial Villages of Sierra Madre tour. Are either tour worth going on? What kind of lunch is provided on the latter tour? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Cheers
Rosefloater Posted January 17, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Suggest you go to the Mexican Riviera board. Lots of good information there.

Lydia B. Posted January 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Not a Carnival tour, but seriously consider going with Matazlan Frank...he is the best. Speaks better english than I do! He knows everything about everthing. The tour he gives is in an AC van and he takes you to places you normally won't see. I can only describe it as a type of arts/crafts tour of handmade items. First stop was a bakery, then it was 3 items for a buck, yep a buck. Then across the street to a gentleman who was making the most beautiful tiles, I still have mine on the wall and cherish it. The artist didn't speak any English, Frank just helped us out. You see hand made furniture, bricks, yes bricks being made, blown glass etc. I can not saw enough postivie about this tour, it is still one of my favorites! Run a search in cruise critic and you will see rave reviews!!! Have fun, Lydia
