What to do with young kids?

We will be in port canaveral from 9-9. We will be traveling with 2 children ages 4 & 7 and are not sold on going to Cape Canaveral.

 

So if we don't do the Cape, what else would you recommend? Are the kayaking tours something we could do with the kids?

 

We are thinking we will hit the zoo but I don't expect it to take more then a few hours.

 

Any suggestions are welcomed.

We are taking our 6 year old to the Kennedy Space Center and beach before our cruise. But he is in to rockets and astronomy right now.
