lshef Posted January 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2011 After disembarking from our cruiseship, my family and I (a total of 8 people) will have an entire day to tour Honolulu. Our flight home is at 10:00pm. We are needing to store our luggage for the day. Any ideas of what we can do with our luggage? Thanks.
CharlesCharles Posted January 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2011 There is a van service we found out about but I'll have to search around for the name and get back to you. They pick up your bags and drop them off wherever you want them later on. I'll Google around and post another reply later

Sunny AZ Girl Posted January 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Here it is...... http://www.alohaairportdeliveryandstorage.com/ Good information! We won't need it since we are staying over in Oahu, but our traveling companions may since they are returning on a late flight disembarkment day. Browezilla Posted January 18, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 18, 2011 I think Aloha Towers has a service, and some cruiselines will send your bags on through to the airport for you ($25 for 2 bags - most convenient, but likely the most expensive option). You may also want to consider renting cars/vans so you can store your luggage and have transportation.

CruisingGoddess Posted January 19, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2011 When we disembarked on 12/4, there was a luggage storage service inside the cruise terminal where you pick up your bags after disembarking. I don't know the costs since we did not need the service but I definitely remember it being there while I was waiting for hubby to get our bags. Another option is to do what we did and rent a car. You can keep your luggage in the car as you sightsee. Just make sure you rent a car that can store your luggage without people being able to see it from the outside as I heard that car break-ins are not uncommon in touristy parking lots. We upgraded our car for this reason and made sure all our suitcases would fit in the trunk.

Princess for example let the cruisers 'rest' in a hotel ballroom with their luggage. We toured, and the returned for our luggage. This was several years ago however. john
