Sheraton North Hotel Houston

Can anyone give me info on this hotel? Bid thru priceline and got this as a 3+ hotel. And could you tell me if there is any food places within walking distances. Thanks:rolleyes:

Try trip advisor .. why would you stay in north Houston. Galveston is south of Houston.

 

Im confused why you are posting it on a cruise message board, as I cant imagine bidding on north houston to go on a cruise.. to stay on your drive back??

I am staying at that hotel because I am flying in IAH and won't be getting in to late Sat. I plan on talking super shuttle in the morning to get to Galveston. Any ideas on what time I should leave the hotel?

I try and arrive at the port between 10:30 am and 11 am, but Im platinum so I know if I get there before boarding starts, I will be on first, and be in the buffet before its picked over... just me but i like being first in line.

 

Boarding generally starts 11 ish. After that, they will start calling zones, in order you arrived on Carnival. I cant remember RCL... you dont say which ship you will be on. Be it Voyager or Conquest, Im sure you will love it.. just a pain to get to Galveston. I actually use trip advisor a lot for hotel reviews.

I also use trip advisor that is what is making me crazy. It didn't get high marks but I'm thinking its just overnight. We are sailing on the Conquest there are 37 of us.
