Need advice (on board booking vs hold) Fast!!

Recommended Posts

I'm getting on the Navigator later today and we plan to book the Oasis while onboard. We were looking this morning at Cabins still available and there is really only one GOOD cabin left (in the category we want), at least according to the new website.

I'm worried it might be gone by the time we get on the ship.

So my question is...if I place a hold on that cabin NOW, and book it on the website, will I still get my $100 OBC for booking onboard???

I called RCCL to ask and the guy told me that if I put a hold on it, the person onboard will just cancel that reservation/hold and rebook it for me under a new reservation number and I'll get the OBC.

Does that sound right?

Hmmm. I wasn't confident with the Royal Vacation Planner's answer so I called back (for a second opinion). The second person referred me to the Crown and Anchor number.

I called that number and he said that if I did the hold, I would not get the OBC :(

Darn. I hope that cabin is still there in a few hours :o
