Newcomers Package

Hi folks,

Still filling out my reservation paperwork - and came across something called the Newcomers package - what is that?

 

(Its applicable on the trip I'm going on, but I'm curious as to what it is)

You should get a bottle of Champagne on arrival, a small amount of credit on you account, an escort aboard to show you around etc. and an invitation to the newcomers coctail party. Sounds pretty good, wish I was there.

We will be first time cruisers on the QM2 Transatlantic 16 Apr from Southampton.

 

How did you know that the Newcomers Package applies on your cruise. Was it in your paperwork ?

 

The Cunard brochure only shows a "Newcomers Cruise" on QM2 and that was in January 2005.

Iceman, there's a box to tick at the bottom of the reservation form. But looking a it closely, it say May 22 QE, not QM :(

Thanks. Yes the Cunard Brochure shows QE2 having a Newcomers Package on the Norwegian Wonders Cruise between May 21 and 28. Are you going on that ?

We go the same direction but a month earlier. Hope you have great first cruise. We are really getting excited about ours.
