Is it safe to walk around Bridgetown? Hubby and I instead of doing an excursion want to explore the town....

 

We have walked around Bridgetown and back to the cruise port on a couple of occasions with no problems whatsoever. As with anywhere you go, keep your wits about you and you should be fine.

We walked to Bridgetown and back in Feb 09 with our 3 children and it was fine - we got hassled a few times on the way back about getting a taxi because of the heat but after a bit of harmless banter they took the hint.

 

We are back there in 2 weeks and would be happy to walk into town again.:cool:
