Booking cruise online

I've been trying all day to book a cruise on Carnival's website and when I get to the part to book it tells me the site is having technical difficulties. I was wondering if I should just book through an online agency or wait for the website to come back up. I don't know if booking through Carnival has any advantages vs. an online agency. The price was exactly the same.

if you book with Carnival they will talk to you about any issues you might have between now and cruise time. if you book thru any agency, you have to go thru them if you have issues because Carnival will only talk to them!

Just call Carnival on their tollfree number and book that way...you can still access the reservation online once you have the booking number.

Especially if you are booking ES. If you book direct, you can submit the price drop form yourself. If you book thru a TA you have to contact them to do it each time and some act like its a bother.
