Cave Tubing with Physical Issues?

My mother is very interested in going cave tubing. From what I've read, each person grabs the next person's legs. Since she has a hard time raising one of her arms above her head, is there still a possibility she can do this?

Thanks,

My mother and mother-in-law went on a cave tubing tour with us in 2009.

Early to mid 60s at the time of the picture.

That's how they link you... legs under the arms of the person in front of you.

Hardest part of the tour is probably the hike... You're hiking along a gravel path to the entrance of the caves while carrying your tube... a few slippery spots... It can be hot and humid.

edit:

Also, I guess you can request that she sit in the back of the chain... then she won't have someone's feet under her armpits.
