FEB 2011 Star VS OOSTERDAM

I just looked at booking a room on both the Star and the Oosterdam for Feb 2011. There were only a few inside rooms available on HAL. On NCL there were rooms in virtually every catagory (16). Star leaves from San Pedro, Oosterdam leaves from San Diego. Both ships do the same ports in Mexico.

 

So.... Why does NCL have so many rooms left and HAL is basically sold out?

I was given the same choice for the first week of March and chose the Oosterdam... perhaps that helps. lol

 

I am not a fan of the NCL experience.

I was on the Star a couple years ago and won't go on it again. The first cruise I didn't enjoy.
