i put mine in a few days ago for my feb 12 sailing and had not heard anything so i called, the answer i got was that no news is good news and we wll not get a confirmation. seems odd since other people state that they have gotten them

 

It makes no difference what you were told by phone. Personally, I have dined in the steakhouse on 4 different ships....and have always recd a confirmation... So have others.

 

You must be patient. If you haven't recd a conf in a week or so, then it might be good to call.

Still not heard anything? I HAVE NOT! One of the friends going with us has stomach cancer and will eventually have his entire stomach removed....He really wanted to try the steakhouse! Very poor communication on Carnival's part, I think!

Got our reply about a day or two after booking (on our 1/14 Spirit sailing). Don't forget to re-confirm when you arrive on board.

Ive read you can get a reply from them anywhere from 24 hours to 3 weeks before you sail. Maybe it depends on when you sail. I sent in a reservation for our July cruise 2 weeks ago and have not got a reply yet. If I don't hear something about a month out I will try to find out who to call and see what is up.
