Horseback riding on the beach

I read somewhere that there is horseback riding on the beach in Costa Maya. However, since we are only there for a few hours I was concerned about the timing of everything. They have an afternoon ride in Cayman which I could combine with the stingray city but it is also a very tight connection and I don't know how tired we may or may not be after the sting ray city. Plus I'd really rather not squeeze them both into one port if I don't have to. Has anyone been on this and can you advise? Thanks in advance. Linda. PS I have an eight year old who is crazy about horses.
