planb Posted January 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2011 So if your not suppose to put liquids in the checked to go on board but you can't have liquid of more than 3 ox in your carry ons when you fly to the ship, Are they making you unpack... and shift your toiletry bag over to your carry on to the ship? I bring 8-12 oz bottles of shampoo and such. Hearing alot of them opening , looking for liquor and we seal all of our liquids in vacuum sealer bags. any idea anyone? You can bring all toiletry in your checked luggage........they are just looking for alcohol...infact we check all our bags at the port.....one had bottled water in it.......this was last month Oh and one lonely rum runner made it thru just fine...... But, you've read more to it than exists. When they say no liquids in your checked baggage, they are referring to consumables like your allowed wine, soda or water. Toiletries are fine. Their scanners can tell the difference between shampoo and booze. The chemical makeup of all liquids shows as a different color on the image seen by the scanner. So, pack your toiletries in your checked bags...and carry your allowed wine, soda or water in your carry on. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
