Leilani, we had 2 cabs, 8 in each cab. The cost was 20 dollars round trip per person. Normal price is 40 dollars. The beach is about 1/2 hour away, but the views are nice. You can Google the beach for pictures.

How did you get 8 in a cab? Must have been more like a van, right? Are there choices as far as cab sizes in Curacao.

A group of us have rented a minivan from Avis at the pier (they say for 7) to go to Playa Porto Mari, and possibly beyond. for approx. $12.50/person. That way, we have some flexibility if we want to go elsewhere on the island. We couldn't get the 12-passenger van (they were all taken) which would have even lowered the cost to $9-10/ea.
