Soda/water?

My DH has me wondering...we know we can bring on a 12 pack of soda each...do they have to be cans, or can they be the 20 oz bottles? Can you bring water and soda, or just one or the other?

It says 12 nonalchoholic drinks in your carry on only.

 

It doesnt state size, so bring whatever you can carry.

We just did this. We put a case of water in one carry-on and 12 packs of soda (cans) in other carry-ons. Went through security and she just wanted to know what kind of soda was in the bag. I saw other people with a 12 pack of soda on top of their carry-on and went through fine. I think 20 oz bottles are fine too.

... take it. As long as you can carry it, it's non-alcohol, and can fit through the security scanner then you will probably be fine. I would think a 12 pack a piece and maybe a couple or few large water bottles would be fine. carry the soda and stash the water bottles in the carry on.
