Rhapsody Evening Buffet? Oceanview rooms?

We assumed all cruise lines offered evening buffets. However, we've just returned from the Celebrity Galaxy sailing to Panama, and we surprised that the evening buffet was available "by reservation only" with additional tips of $2 per person. We are booked on the RCI Rhapsody for April out of Galveston. Are there evening food options other than the dining room? And, what about the oceanview rooms on Deck 4. Is the decor nice? Updated? Does anyone have pictures? Any & all info would be appreciated! Thanks!

The Windjammer has a buffet dinner in the evening. The oceanview rooms on deck 4 are very nice and are usually where we stay up forward under the theater.

I see you are going in April. Are you aware of the kappa beach party on the 15th-17th. Hope it doesn't coincide with your departure.

We stayed in cabin 4568 last year in april and it was great. No noise from other cabins at all. We were very close to the Champagne Bar which was great.. Great location and the cabin was arranged quite well.

 

This year we have a Jr Suite and are cruising on April 17th..When are you leaving??

 

Thanks for the heads up regarding the Kappa Beach Party. It was the same weekend as our cruise last year also. We didn't have any trouble getting to the pier on Sunday morning .. We had heard the traffic would be very congested but it wasn't too bad..

 

In regards to the dinner question,,as far as I know you can eat in the dining room or buffet every night including the first. You can choose where to ear and no add'l tips are necessary.
