7:00 Flight

We have a 7:00 pm flight after our cruise on the Navigator. We are a family of four two adults and two teens. I am thinking about getting a hotel on Priceline or Hotwire. My question is can i book a hotel and check out early? I don't know if this would work because we would probably arrive to the hotel before check in. I would like to get a day rate room but i would want it reserved in advance. Are there any hotels that let you reserve day rooms in advance? We want to be by the beach. What would taxis cost to the hotel and then to the airport? Thanks for any information.

If you are going to pay for a hotel and taxis why not change your flights and leave the next morning?

Checking out early is easy -- the challenge you will face is that your room may not be available until 3:00 or 4:00 PM :eek:, which would leave you only an hour or two in the room. I'd do more homework on hotels offering a day-rate, or rent a car and stash the bags in the trunk and then go where you want. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the replies. I can't change my flight because the flights are more expensive on Fiday and theres a fee to change. I will do more research on hotels with day rates. If we can't find a hotel with a day rate then we will rent a car.
