Hertz Rental Car - Sheraton Location - Late Drop-off Question

Arriving in San Juan on the Eurodam at 1:00 pm. Would like to rent a car to see El Yunque on our own. Seems like Hertz at the Sheraton hotel location would be the best option. Their website still says you can drop-off the car after hours with the hotel valet for an $18.00 fee, but posters on this site have said they no longer allow this option. Has anyone rented from this location recently, and if so do you know if the late drop-off with the valet is still allowed or not?

Rented here last June and it was a BIG hassle...the office is inside the hotel and is about the size of a closet. They didn't have any cars even though we booked ahead of time so we had to wait for over and hour (in the cramped little office) Then they tried to charge us more because the car that finally came in was a level above what we'd reserved!
