The poster was referring to the "Reputation", not the fact. carnival has had a certain "Perception", just as the Queen Mary has a different perception.

Is RCI's "Reputation" slowly changing, based on one's Perception?

 

I made a post, based upon everyone else s perceptions they were posting here on this thread, stating on that premise, is there a trend here?

For years Carnival had the reputation of being booze cruises..attracting nothing but trashy people who spent most of their time drunk and puking in the hallways.

The part about Carnival is an exaggeration as Ive cruised them for years and dont consider any of my ex-GF's trashy ;)

I see alot of drunk people on all cruise lines and have never seen any vomit in any hallway I might have smelt it but never seen

Well unless Carnival pax are prone to cleaning their own messes cudos to the housekeeping crew on Carnival for removing the mess.:)
