CintiPam Posted February 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2011 With partly cloudy weather and no precipitation today in the NYC metropolitan area, I assume it will be OK for them.:) I am jealous just looking at your hometown on the upper right of your posting! LOL Believe it or not, I thought of returning to Chicago, my home town a few years ago but.....in light of this storm, one slip and fall on the ice and I will be in traction. It is actually what we call cold here in the 60's today, however in July and August I wil be thinking of your nice weather. I was thinking more of the numerous delays which would only delay them further especially if another storm was brewing. Thanks
CintiPam Posted February 3, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2011 It has been my experience (fortunately limited to bad weather on several trips overseas from JFK), the people who have tickets on the good days between the bad days do OK, but the others are left to wait and wait and wait. Don't get me started on my awful JFK experiences!
