New to NCL

Ok.Sailing on the Jade to Greek Isles. Lots of questions for NCL cruisers...

 

1. How are the cabins since they allow smoking in the cabin? I'm very sensitive about smoking and have never sailed on a cruise line that allows it in the cabins.

 

2. How does this free style thing work? I am easily satisfied on most cruise lines and don't even mind the buffets....I dont like to spend money in specialty restaurants so what will it be like for me?

 

3. We only have 1 sea day and we booked an inside cabin, what will there be to do on board?

 

4. I like to run on the tread mill, how is the gym? And/or running deck?

 

5. How hard is it to "bring a little (bottle) friend" on board in your luggage? We usually do this on all our cruises.

 

6. Other NCL tips?
