This is our first cruise with RCI and we booked OV aboard the Radiance.

1. Do all the sofas on board convert into sofabeds?

2. Is there a curtain separation or anything in OV rooms?

3. "Free drinks?" e.g. lemonade, HiC, ice tea, etc for RCI?

4. Are there daily Spa specials like on Carnival and Disney?

5. Any advice for the Tampa port (parking, luggage, etc)?

Thanks in advance;)

I can't answer the sofa question although we have had two different rooms with sofas and only one converted.

The only rooms i've seen curtain separators are suites.

There are free drinks.... lemonade, ice tea but soda and alcoholic beverages have a cost.

We have seen some spa specials but they are usually for a day and somewhat random. We've seen them in particular on day 1 when they are not full (early)

No experience with tampa port but grabbing a taxi is easy... that's what we did in Miami and Puerto Rico.

Looking at the deck plans, it doesn't appear to me that any of the OV cabins have sofabeds, other than the few Family OVs. Hopefully someone else can confirm that.

2. Is there a curtain separation or anything in OV rooms?

I don't believe so.

In addition to lemonade and iced tea, our last two cruises they have had flavored waters (think crystal lite), like mango or raspberry, for free. Very refreshing!

4. Are there daily Spa specials like on Carnival and Disney?

We have never used the spa, but I have the compasses from our recent Serenade cruise linked in my signature, including the "specials" flyers each day, if you would like to look through and see the types of things they offer.

Thanks in advance;)

Have a great cruise!

The sofa bed is the exception rather than the rule. I know in my E1 balcony on Radiance there was a curtain divider between the bed and the couch ... not sure if that is the norm or because that room did have a sofa bed. There tend to be spa packages on port days that will be listed in the Compass/advertising sheets the night before.

HAD AN OV last week on the radiance.

in our room (I can't speak for every room)

1-curtain divider between couch and bed

2-sofa did not make into a bed (There were 2 pull down beds but we only had 2 in our cabin so they were not needed (Also sofa more of a love seat size than sofa)

our balcony last month had a full size sofa but I never looked to see if it opened

3-port of tampa is a very easy port (our favorite) drop off luggage with porters than valet or drive across the street to the parking garage.. either way very easy

i believe self parking is 15/day (valet is 3or 4 more per day)

I normally valet because i can't wait to be on the ship

have a wonderful trip as she is a lovely vessel

If you check the deck plans, it will show if the sofa is a "sofa-bed" or not.

Not every ship has a curtain that actually "divides" the cabin...some are simply decorative and don't add privacy. The cabins are fairly small....not much privacy even if there's a curtain!

Yes...on port day's they will offer "special" deals....however, they're still more expensive than a land-based spa!
