Balcony Guarantee

Sailing on the Conquest 3-6-11, I opted for the Senior Rate which gave me a nice price for a guarantee balcony. Is there any way to get a clue where I might be assigned or has anyone had this experience that they can share with me?

We got our Balcony guarantee room about 4 weeks before. It was a Christmas cruise. It wasn't a room I would have picked (the one you see when you come off the elevators and start heading up or down a hall), but we weren't too fussy, as I preferred the better rate to room location.

It can be anywhere. But just make sure it's at least an 8A guarantee!

We are 27 days till sailing so hopefully anytime now we'll get a GREAT cabin assignment.

I'd think 8A is the least we'd get, I don't know if being Platinum would make any difference to their selection for us.

UPDATE:

Well we sail on 3-6-11 and yesterday we got our cabin assignment. We'd booked a balcony guarantee (I've never taken that chance before) but ended up with a lovely 8D on the Verandah Deck - sweet.

I also mailed in my FCC I'd purchased in May, 2010 and they applied $100 to OBC and returned $100 to my credit card.

One more satisfied customer!!! :D

That's funny. We just booked a senior rate and got to pick our cabin on the Pride, and we were more than 100 days out.
