Lazio Soccer Tickets

We will be in Rome for 3 days pre-cruise mid May and my son REALLY wants to attend the Lazio Roma-Genoa soccer game on Sunday, May 15th at Olympic Stadium. Will it be possible/difficult to get tickets once we arrive in Rome on the Friday? If possible, where/how would we purchase tickets? Or should we buy them online before we go? What kind of price should we expect to pay for economy/non-premium seats?

I am pretty sure that buying them from the stadium box office (Stadio Olimpico) is cheaper. This stadium seats over 80K people.

I agree that tickets will likely be cheaper at the stadium on game day but what is the likelihood there will be tickets available? The stadium may seat 80,000 but is it usually filled to capacity? Might we be able to buy tickets elsewhere in Rome a day or two before the game to ensure we have them?

If you want peace of mind then buy from the broker. Stadium sales are only on match day. Lazio's official site has info only on immediate matches not that far in advance http://www.sslazio.it/biglietteria-a-stadio/info-e-contatti.html

Remember that everyone who buys a ticket must show an identity document, it is impossible to give the title to access (DL 02/08/2010 no. 8). This also applies to minors for whom you must show The identification document issued by the municipality (eg.: The state of family photos, birth certificate with photo) or the passport of a parent (which appears in the minor course).
