Snorkeling in November?

Wife wants to try snorkeling on cruise if we go in November. I'm thinking that it might be alittle on hte cool side. Any thoughts.

And do you own wetsuits?

Wet suits ? Nope don't own any, besides that would not look good on this 48 year old body. Trying t o decide when first.

 

We also have not settle on a cruise. That was to be a next question.

I cruised Southern Caribbean in Dec, and the water was warm! Depending on where you want to go....I say go for it.

I normally use a diveskin as a good protection against sunburn,abrasion and jellyfish if there are any.

We snorkled at Disney's Castaway Cay in Dec. It was marvelous. Have fun!

Snorkeled both Belize, Cozumel and Roatan at the end of Nov. The water was just fine. Enjoy.

I have scuba dived without a wetsuit in the Eastern and Western Caribbean in November and December and was fine. The water temps were in the low 80's. The Bahamas was cooler and I did wear a wetsuit there. I would stick to the Caribbean in November, but that's because I like water that is 80 degrees or warmer. :D
