Is the Casino open while at Princess Cayes?

Hi, I have a friend and her family getting ready to sail on the Ruby Princess next week and she had this question. I'm not much of a gambler and haven't sailed Princess yet, so if anyone knows and can help me with the answer, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I do not believe its open. I thought the casino is only open when we are in open ocean. I think you may have to be X amount of miles from shore but I could be wrong.

That's true. It is in Bahamas water while there, so it probably isn't, I guess. I'll tell her that I doubt it, and she/they can be happy if I'm wrong. Thanks.

Bahamian law allows ship casinos to open in port -- this was to

encourage ships to stay into the evening in Nassau and Freeport.

 

In princess cay, no table games. Maybe machines, but I've never

noticed.
