towels for half moon cay

Do we have to take our towels from our room to half moon cay or are there towels that we can sign out at the beach like they do at the pool. Would rather not lug more than we have to. Thanks.

On our last Holland America cruise the towels were at the gangway for everyone to take.

Not sure how Carnival handles towel distribution.

There are towels at a rental hut when you arrive at the island and you will have to sign for them and return them when you leave.

Is the set up the same for Labadee? Are towels available once you get off the ship?

We've always brought our pool towels to both Labadee and Coco Cay...I've never seen towels available on the beach, but then, I haven't looked for them, since I have what I need!

Are you going on HAL or Carnival?

 

HAL:

You are tossed several towels at the gangplank. You do not sign them out or anything. So if you lose one; you will not be charged.

 

Carnival:

You have to sign them out at the gangplank if they are missing you are charged, Don't know why though seeing as crew search the island for towels before departure.

On Miracle last summer, the ship provided beach towels in your cabin. We took those ashore with us at all three stops, as well as to the pools on the ship. The cabin steward changed them out, every day, just like all the other towels.
