Sandoo Posted February 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2011 I ruptured a disc in my back last year and have been told to stay away from high impact activities. So, I need advice on good low impact excursions.
World Gallery Posted February 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2011 My sister had the same issue last year when our family went to Belize. Something else to keep in mind is the tender ride over. I would wait to see what the seas are like that day because the tender ride over can be very bumpy, harder on your back than any excursion would be. My sister wasn't sure she was going to get off of the ship until that day but she did because it was calm enough. We went to Bacab Gardens and hung out at the pool and visited the Butterfly Gardens. This was through the ship. I can't say I would recommend this tour because it was very average at best but it was low impact. I guess other options would be a city tour with the zoo or check to see if your ship has a trip to Bannister Island or Coral Breeze does one.
