Changing room after deposit

I recently just booked a cruise with CCL through Expedia on the Freedom for July 24th. I have done most of my small vacations through Expedia.

I thought I did all my homework and we picked a balcony room in the mid-forward ship(6248)

All the major vacation sites basically had all the same rooms in the forward part of the ship so I was thinking that was the only ones available.

So I was playing around on CCL's website and noticed they had aft balcony rooms available.

I did choose the early saver discount and would be willing to pay the extra $3/person/day for the slight upgrade.

Are the aft balcony rooms worth it? And would Expedia be able to grab one of these rooms if I called them?
