Fishon28 Posted February 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2011 I recently just booked a cruise with CCL through Expedia on the Freedom for July 24th. I have done most of my small vacations through Expedia. I thought I did all my homework and we picked a balcony room in the mid-forward ship(6248) All the major vacation sites basically had all the same rooms in the forward part of the ship so I was thinking that was the only ones available. So I was playing around on CCL's website and noticed they had aft balcony rooms available. I did choose the early saver discount and would be willing to pay the extra $3/person/day for the slight upgrade. Are the aft balcony rooms worth it? And would Expedia be able to grab one of these rooms if I called them?
travelntreats Posted February 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2011 Need to call Expedia and get your answer on this. Your choice to use them, but personally I would not have. They may charge a change fee too ? Just have to call and inquire with them I guess.
gargoyle999 Posted February 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2011 If the cabin is available your TA can contact Carnival for you and get you moved. You can always upgrade your cabin with ES. :) Oh..I've had several aft cabins and they are my favorite!
