Rum tasting

I remember reading somewhere that there was a visitors center near the cruise ship pier that offered free rum tasting. Does anybody know anything about this?

Don Q....is right across the street from the piers. They only allow you to taste 1 of their rums though.

Yes, there is the Casa Don Q that is west of the dock on the water front. I have never had them limit the samples...I usually try 2-3 drinks there (now that they are smaller). They are closed on Thursdays this time of year.

Then right next door is the PR Tourism Company that has a sampling bar. It is only open from like 1-5pm Sat-Wed. But they will make a few drinks. Just ask.

And if you tip your bartenders, they are more than willing to keep the samples coming.
