Kdiamond55 Posted February 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2011 I tried searching... We have 2 families of 4 traveling on Epic and we'd like to do a couple of dinners in the specialty restaurants (Tepenyaki and Moderno's) for all 8 of us...how do we do this? Would it be better to book 6 and 2 then talk to them when we get on board? Or do 4 and 4? Any thoughts? Thanks!
jdvmd Posted February 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Find out which time slots are open and book 4 + 4. I assume both of your reservations are linked together. If not, do so. Also when you get onboard, you will need to visit the restaurant where you have the reservations and have them note that you want to be put together with the other party. sdmike Posted February 16, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2011 We had two reservations for our group of 11, a 6 (the max) and a 5. One was actually 30 minutes after the other because they have a very limited ability to handle more than 4 at the same time in their reservation system. We simply showed up at the same time and they moved tables for us to sit together. I would book 4 and 4 at the same time. That should not be an issue. Show up together and they should accommodate you just fine, although you may need to wait if you're eating during a busy time so they can clear two tables near each other. You can also see the reservation agent for the restaurants on board. They are often in the hallway outside the Garden Cafe and down by Cagneys/Moderno, although not all the time. That way they can note on the reservation that you're together and be prepared for it.
