Any suggestions regarding the Radisson or Country Inn and Suites? Rates are approximately the same, but would like to know which is nice, has reliable transportation to the port, and safe place for cars while on cruise. We are arriving the afternoon/evening prior and have an 11:30 port arrival time.

When we sailed last Nov we stayed at the Radisson. We loved it. We were on the Magic, so our car was there for a week. They take reservation times for their shuttle, so it was very convenient. Getting off the cruise, the shuttle was waiting for us and dropped us off literally at our car. The breakfast was nice and our room was very nice. It was right by the pool, but noise wasn't an issue.

We'll stay there again this November.

We have stayed at both several times and like them equally well.

If you stay at the Radisson ask/insist they give you a renovated room. Much nicer than the ones that haven't been redone yet. ANY rate gets you the free shuttle/parking so don't pay more for the park/cruise rate. Be sure to book your shuttle time when you book the room as they fill up fast. No free breakfast but there is a McDonald's right across the street or a family restaurant next door. They do have a restaurant on site ,but the breakfast was expensive and not very good.

The Country Inn & Suites is very nice....it's newer than the Radisson and very well maintained too. Unless you pay the park/cruise rate here you do have to pay an extra $20 for park there for the week. (Still at lot cheaper than parking at the Port). They also have a free breakfast which is pretty good. Unless they have changed it you cannot sign up for the shuttle ahead of time.

If we cannot get the shuttle times we want we usually just call a cab. Only costs about $10, so to us it's worth it to get to the terminal early.

Hope this helps.....
